tired today
Couldn't even get to 2 miles today. Stopped at around 1.95. Oh well. I think it's because I didn't have coffee today. And I stayed up late reading. Who knows! Excuses excuses. Hope my next run is better

Felt tired yesterday. Didn't get to the gym until 9:30. Only made it 2 miles. Walked 1.25 too, though.

not too bad for a post Christmas treadmill run
Walked .25, ran 3.5, then walked .25 on the treadmill. No picture because something happened to the machine and all my info zeroed out. The first mile is always the hardest, but all the subsequent miles are getting a ton easier! Hope I can do 4.5 on Saturday!

hey there
I went out today intending to go 2 miles. By 0.8 miles, though, I felt like I was done. I kept going though, and by 1.8, I felt like I could maybe get to 2.5....then I hit 3 and though, eh why not another half mile? Total today was 3.5 (with 0.3 warmup walk). Not too shabby, right?! The weather was perfect for running. Sunny, clear, 49 degrees. I can't wait for spring!

I ran 4 miles without stopping!!!
I just ran 4 miles without walking! Stopped for a second twice though. Once when's car almost hit me and a second time crossing a busy road. I FEEL AWESOME. definitely wanted to stop 0.8 miles in, but I pressed on. I feel much better now. I think avoiding that huge hill by the library helped. Everytime I hit it, I die. Whew. Now I need to eat a lot of food. And nap.

today's rough run
Ugh. Today's run was tough. I don't know why. Ted worked from home so I went out when the girls were napping. I don't know what's wrong with me. Maybe I'm just not used to running in the daytime. Maybe it was the weather, who knows? It's 27 degrees and my toes are still a little frozen. Maybe it was because of my new leggings, which are tight. Or maybe it was because the French lady on my runkeeper app didn't tell me to think about all the croissant I can eat, so it made me feel judged (I don't know how but somehow a French lady announces my pace and time and usually encourages me with thoughts of croissants and pain chocolat...).
Anyway, ran 2 miles, hit the super steep hill by the library, and my body refused to run any further. I don't know how I'll ever get to 13.1 miles...
